Railway

  • Provide Engineering consultancy services for Rail system including train and related civil works of depots.
  • Managing the technical assurance of scheme design and detail design for permanent way works including interface disciplines for depot and stabling sidings works from pre-construction stage to BIU, P-way design and specification ensuring project deliverables meet technical standards and quality requirements, are on time and budget.
  • Provision of technical support and leadership on engineering issues to the project delivery team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the project to time, budget and quality so that assets installed by the programme are fit for purpose.
  • Work with third parties and interface with relevant teams to understand and incorporate their design requirements in order to assist in the production of a viable project plan.
  • Provide and update project documentation, site records and all test results, surveys and audits in line with policies and standards, to ensure required documentation is provided to support project delivery
  • Liaise with the client, lead designer, professional services consultants and specialist contactors to ensure they provide accredited assurance for works and services for which they have been appointed.
  • Report regularly and communicate progress and potential issues and recommendations to the project team in an effective and appropriate manner and effectively liaise with interfacing project teams to support operations and the successful delivery of the project.
  • Construction coordination for P-Way and civil works with other disciplines designs for Cross rail (NR), Underground Depots and Network rail interfaces works
  • Design review including constructability, contract requirements & clash detection with other assets checks.
  • Supply chain management from start to completion of works and handover to client.
  • Quality control from pre-construction stage to handover to client.
  • Support to Commercial team from Tender stage to completion stage.
  • P-Way and Civil projects- Depot Upgrade works, New build Railway infrastructures, Track Monitoring works, Project Planning works
  • NR design & construction assurance process.

Civil Engineering Consultancy

  • New build and Refurbishment works for building structures, Bridge strengthening works.
  • Grade 1 Building Pre-construction structural survey works carried out and report submission to designers/ client.
  • Ensure that the project environmental requirements are met.

Construction Engineering Management services

  • Monitor quality and progress.
  • Prepare Method statements and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) Documents.
  • Prepare Design Review comments / Technical Queries for issued drawings and Communicate with designers / Clients to get construction status detail drawings and Installation works.
  • Produce check sheets, Red line drawings and sketches where require for original design drawings
